Document Library
The Document Library gives you access to your organization's shared files directly from the app — training manuals, standard operating procedures, checklists, forms, and any other documents your team needs in the field.
Accessing the Library
Tap the menu icon → Document Library. The root folder opens, showing top-level folders and any documents stored at the root level.
Navigating Folders
Tap a folder to open it. The breadcrumb trail at the top of the screen shows your current path (e.g. Library › Operations › Store Procedures). Tap any segment of the breadcrumb to jump back to that level.
Folder cards show how many subfolders and documents they contain so you can get a sense of what is inside before opening.
Finding a Document
Use the search bar at the top to filter by document name. The search applies to the current folder and its subfolders.
Opening a Document
Tap a document to open it. Depending on the file type and whether you are on a native device or a browser:
- Native app (iOS/Android): the file is downloaded to your device and opened with the appropriate native app (PDF viewer, document app, etc.)
- Web browser: the file opens in a new browser tab
Supported File Types
The library supports any file type your organization uploads, including:
- PDF documents
- Word documents and spreadsheets
- Images (PNG, JPG)
- CSV files
Downloading for Offline Access
On the native app, documents you open are saved to your device's file system. This means you can access them even without a network connection after the first download.
Tips
If you regularly need a specific document in the field — like a temperature threshold chart or emergency contact list — open it once on a Wi-Fi connection so it is cached for offline use.
Permissions
The Document Library is read-only in the mobile app. Adding, editing, and organizing folders and files is done by administrators from the web portal. If you need a document added, contact your administrator.
