Getting Started

This page walks you through installing the app, logging in, and getting oriented before your first review.

Installing the App

Search for "Action Card 3" in the App Store or Google Play and install it. Enable automatic updates so you always have access to the latest features.

  • iOS: App Store
  • Android: Google Play

Logging In

Open the app and enter the email address and password provided in your welcome email. Tap Sign In.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

If your organization uses Microsoft or Okta for identity management, tap the corresponding SSO button instead of entering a password manually. You will be redirected to your organization's login page and returned to the app automatically.

Forgot Password

Tap Forgot Password on the login screen, enter your email address, and tap Reset. You will receive an email with a reset link within a few minutes.

Selecting Your Company

If your account has access to more than one company or brand, the Select Company screen appears after login. Tap the company you want to work in. You can switch companies later from the menu.

Kiosk Mode

Some locations operate in Kiosk Mode, where a shared device is pinned to a restricted-access login. On the Kiosk screen, tap your name from the list and enter your assigned PIN to check in.

Navigating the App

Once logged in, the main screen has two navigation areas:

Full Menu

Tap the list icon (fourth tab) to open the full navigation menu. From here you can reach:

  • Dashboard
  • Reviews
  • Checklists
  • Action Center
  • Locations
  • Map Route
  • Document Library
  • Profile
  • Kiosk Mode (if enabled for your account)
  • Support options
  • Sign Out

Setting Your Time Zone

Your time zone determines when scheduled items appear and how timestamps display. To set it:

  1. Tap the menu icon → Profile
  2. Scroll to the Timezone field and select your zone
  3. Tap Save

Language

The app supports English and French (Canadian). To change your language:

  1. Tap the menu icon → Profile
  2. Tap the Language field and select your preference
  3. Tap Save

The app will switch languages immediately.

Notifications

Push notifications alert you when reviews are assigned, action items need your attention, or something changes in an assessment you are part of. Notification preferences are managed in your Profile — see Profile & Settings for details.

Working Offline

The app is designed to work in locations with poor connectivity. Data is cached to your device so you can:

  • View previously loaded reviews and checklists
  • Continue answering questions
  • Take and attach photos

Changes made offline are queued and synced automatically when you reconnect. Before logging out, the app will warn you if there are pending unsynced items.

Warning

Do not clear app data or force-quit while offline changes are pending. Wait until you see a network connection and let the sync complete.

Signing Out

Tap the menu icon → Sign Out. If there are unsaved or unsynced items, the app will display a warning before signing you out.

Tips

On a shared device, always sign out explicitly when you are finished so the next person starts with their own account.
