Tips & Best Practices
For Reviewers
- Complete reviews in one session when possible. In-progress reviews are visible to managers and may prompt follow-up if left open.
- Take photos for every flagged item — visual evidence makes action items easier to resolve and faster to approve.
- Add notes to borderline questions so the context is clear when viewing the completed review later.
- Sync before going offline — on mobile, open your assigned reviews while you still have connectivity so they load for offline use.
For Managers
- Check your Action Center daily — unresolved action items that pass their due date are flagged as overdue.
- Use the Company Overview drill-down to quickly identify underperforming locations before doing deeper analysis.
- Approve action items promptly — locations that complete corrections need timely approval to close the loop and keep scores accurate.
- Set notification preferences so you are alerted when key reviews are completed without needing to log in to check manually.
For Administrators
- Keep your user list current — deactivate accounts when employees leave to maintain data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
- Use Report Tags consistently — the value of cross-template reporting depends on tags being applied uniformly across all templates.
- Set up recurring reviews for any evaluation that happens on a regular schedule — this ensures nothing is missed and creates an automatic audit trail.
- Train new reviewers using completed reviews — the detail view is a great reference for what good documentation looks like.
