Identifying Action Items

There are a few different methods in which a user can access Action Items that need resolution. In this tutorial, we will utilize the Action Center.

  1. From the dashboard, navigate to the Action Center.

  2. Locate and open the folder titled “Key Action Items”.

  3. The “Key Action Items” folder houses all Key Review Action Items that have been assigned to location(s) you have access to. Click on a review to see the status of Action Items and other details. You can search for Reviews based on the following criteria:

    • Name of Reviewer
    • Location
    • Review Tool (the form that was used)
  4. Once the desired Review is selected, click on “View Review” to be taken to the Review Details page. Here, users will locate Action Items and provide resolution or feedback.

  5. On the Review Details page, locate all flagged Action Items. Action Items are indicated by a ‘flag’ icon.

  6. After an Action Item is located, click on the question. You will see the question details under the “Review Feedback” tab, with the selected response(s), notes, and any images or documents. To the right of “Review Feedback”, you will see an “Action Taken” option. This is where you will address the selected Action Item.

  7. Below the “Conversation” box, there are two options:

    • List the resolution or responses to the Action Item, and Request Approval.
    • Add a Comment

When Requesting Approval, list the action you took to resolve the issue or feedback given in the Review details. After Requesting Approval, the Action Item moves to “Awaiting Approval”. Then, someone will Approve or Reject the item, based on the information you have listed. You can attach a file or image to help further clarify the action you took.

After you request approval, your note will be visible for others with access to this location to see.
